Build your gang sheetHow to prepare artwork for DTF printing
Supply a PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI at the exact size you want printed. Avoid semi-transparent pixels (soft shadows, glows, low-opacity layers): DTF prints them as faded or speckled. Keep fine lines at least 0.5 mm thick and text at least 6 pt.
DTF vs screen printing: which should you choose?
Choose DTF for full-colour designs, small and medium runs, many different designs, and quick turnarounds: there are no screens or setup fees. Screen printing becomes cheaper for large runs (usually 100+ of one simple design in a few colours) and gives the softest hand-feel.
How to fit more designs on a DTF gang sheet
Use auto-arrange, rotate tall designs, nest small logos into gaps beside large prints, and order several sheets in one order: EziBrand charges all your sheets as one continuous run, so leftover space on each sheet doesn't cost extra metres.
How to press DTF transfers
Press EziBrand DTF transfers at 135-150 °C for 7-10 seconds with medium-firm pressure (30-50 psi), hot peel the film straight away, then post-press for 2-3 seconds. Most cottons and polyester blends are fine at 145 °C for 10 seconds. Pre-press damp fabrics for 3-4 seconds first. Go as hot and as long as the fabric allows: temperature and time both affect how well the print survives washing.
